Korean Food Recipe: Bibimbap

Bibimbap containing rice with vegetables stuffing, beef, eggs, and sauce spicy gochujang (hot pepper paste).

Ingredients:
-400 g of meat (tenderloin) or thinly sliced ​​beef sukiyaki 

-25 g dried mushrooms hioko, soak in boiling water until tender, thinly sliced 
-100 g bean sprouts, brewed with boiling water 
-100 g green cucumber, cut lengthwise, cut crosswise 1/2 cm 
-100 g carrots, peeled, cut into julienne
-4 eggs, fried egg 1/2 ripe
-1 piece of kombu (kelp)
 

-4 tablespoons of cooking oil 
Shredded Sauce Ingredients:
-3 tbsp soy sauce
 

-1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
 -1/2 tsp salt 
-1 tbsp sesame oil
 -1 tbsp toasted sesame
 -2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper 
-3 cloves garlic, crushed, chopped 
-1 stalk spring onion, thinly sliced
 -200 ml of water 
Vegetable Sauce Ingredients marinade:
 -3 tsp soy sauce 
-1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
 -1 clove garlic, crushed, chopped 
-1 stalk spring onion, thinly sliced

How to Make:
1.
Shredded Sauce: Mix all ingredients until blended. 

2. Vegetable Sauce marinade: Mix all ingredients until blended.
3. Mix the meat with the sauce and mushrooms hioko: shredded separately. Let stand 30 minutes.
4. Heat a skillet over medium heat, pour 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Saute until wilted cucumber, remove from heat. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a pan. Saute carrots until wilted, remove from heat. 

5. Combine bean sprouts, cucumbers, and carrots with a vegetable sauce marinade separately. Set aside until the meat is ready. 
6. Heat a skillet over medium heat, pour 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Sauteed mushrooms withshredded sauce until done, remove from heat. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil into the wok stir mushrooms former. Saute meat with shredded sauce  until cooked, remove from heat. 
7. Arrange bean sprouts, cucumbers, and carrots on a serving plate. Add mushrooms and stir-fry meat. Add egg half cooked and sprinkle kombu
8. Ready to serve.



Note:
* Recipe Bibimbap is only for 4 servings.
 

* Kombu (kelp) is a type of brown seaweed that is sold dried ribbon-shaped, has a strong aroma, and usually mixed in soups and broths. Kambu (kelp), which is an essential ingredient in the manufacture of Japanese style broth (dashi) can be obtained at the supermarket.
